Title (Max 100 Characters)
SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - A benefit race for a 3-year-old will raise money and awareness for Rapid-onset Obesity with Hypothalamic dysfunction, Hypoventilation and Autonomic Dysregulation syndrome.
ROHHAD is a rare disease affecting about only 75 cases worldwide. The benefit race on Aug. 11 will be for 3-year-old Reagann Duenne from Charleston, Mo. Her mother and father are B.J. and Joe Duenne. It will start around 5 p.m. at the Sikeston Drag Strip, now called Dyno Dom's Sikeston Raceway.
Reagann's aunt says so far, the little girl is showing minimal signs, but did have a tumor removed recently that was neuroblastoma cancer; which puts her on the list for being watched for ROHHAD. She says friends and family want to help Reagann and all other families that have ROHHAD.
