Charleston DPS activity report for Jan. 13-19 | Crime

CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) - The Charleston Department of Public Safety has released their activity report for the week of January 13 through 19.

Charleston DPS says an arrest, or the issuance of a citation does not imply guilt. The report includes:

Jan. 13

• An officer investigated a two vehicle crash at I-57 and Hwy 105.
• Zamat Mohammad, 23, of Chicago Ridge, Ill. was issued a citation for driving while suspended.
• A fire truck was dispatched to a structure fire at 211 North Locust Street.
• A television was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at 204 North Ninth Street.
• An officer investigated an assault at 504 South Sy Williams Avenue. Briaini Bryant, 20, of Charleston was later arrested for assault and placed in jail.
• Haley Wengert, 20, of Jackson was issued a citation for speeding.

• Kamunde Scott, 33, of Charleston was arrested on an assault warrant and placed in jail.
• An officer investigated a report of suspicious activity behind the Casey’s General Store on South Main Street. Responding officers found two males who fled on foot. Cornelius David, 23, and Questus Kent, 17, both of Charleston were later arrested for attempted armed robbery and resisting arrest. Both are currently in jail on $50,000 bond.
• Denise Jarrett, 43, of Charleston was issued a citation for speeding.

• A shotgun was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at 504 East Commercial Street.
• Christopher Nunnally, 22, of Charleston was arrested for no drivers license and speeding. He was released on a summons.
• A vehicle was reported damaged at 301 North Heggie Street.

• Dianna Chisholm, 49, of Cairo, Ill. was issued a citation for speeding.
• Michael Underwood, 46, of Elk City, Okla. was issued a citation for speeding.

Jan. 17

• An officer investigated a report of trespassing at 112 South Street. Formal charges are pending.

• An officer investigated a two vehicle crash on I-57 at US 62.
• Demontray Walker, 17, of East Prairie was issued a citation for speeding.

• A fire truck was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Hwy 77 near Diehlstadt.
• Paula Rogers, 40, of Charleston was arrested on a warrant issued by the City of Charleston. She was placed in jail.
• Dorothy Bryant, 41, of Charleston was arrested on a warrant for bad checks. She was placed in jail.
• Travonda Horrell, 28, of Charleston was arrested on a warrant issued by the City of Charleston. She was placed in jail.
• Krushon Scott, 19, of Charleston was arrested on a warrant issued by the City of Charleston. He was placed in jail.
• Jalissa Bogan, 20, of Charleston and Jamarquez Stanback, 21, of Charleston were arrested for possession of marijuana. Both were released on summons.  
• Ronica Stanback, 27, of Charleston was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. She was placed in jail.
• Jolisa Williams, 28, of Ullin, Ill. was arrested on a warrant issued by the City of Charleston. She was placed in jail.
