SCOTT COUNTY AND MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A man and woman pleaded guilty on April 7 to bank robbery.
Richard Anderson, 21, of Minor, Mo. and Holli Wrice, 32, of Charleston, Mo. pleaded guilty to robbing the Capaha Bank of Tamms, Ill. on November 6, 2008.
They admitted in court to robbing the bank with handguns. Wrice pointed a gun at a teller and handed her a note that said: "This is a robbery, I have a gun, don't cause a scene and no one will get hurt. I do have a gun!!"
Bank cameras recorded the robbery and showed Wrice picking up the note shown to the teller and putting it in the bag with the money. The note fell out of the bag when it was pulled away from the teller window.
Photos from bank surveillance cameras were broadcasted to the public and lead witnesses to come forward and identify Anderson. Further investigation found that Anderson's fingerprints matched those found on the demand note.
