You can enter your dog now for ACA Dog Show in June | Events

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - The Southeast Chapter of the American Pet Breeders Association and American Canine Association will host a Conformation Dog Show and Seminar on June 29 and 30.

The dog show and seminar will be at the American Legion Hall in Poplar Bluff on PP Highway behind Ozark Flooring.

A schedule of events includes:

Friday, June 29

• 8 a.m. - Registration and booth visitation
• 8:20 a.m. - Welcome by MPBA Southeast Chapter President Wayne Powell
• 8:30 a.m. - Dr. Kesler
• 10 a.m. - Booth visitation
• 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. - ACA Dog Show
• 12:30 p.m. - Lunch on your own (concessions available) Jr handler show
• 1:30 p.m. - Dr. Kesler
• 3 p.m. - Booth visitation
• 3:30 p.m. - ACA Dog Show

Saturday, June 30

• 8 a.m. - Registration and booth visitation
• 8:45 a.m. - Welcome by the MPBA Southeast President Wayne Powell
• 9 a.m. - Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs
• 9:45 a.m. - Booth visitation
• 10:15 a.m. - USDA and Missouri Dept. of AG
• 11:15 a.m. - Booth visitation
• 11:30 a.m. - Animal Welfare alliance of Southeast Missouri President Charlotte Craig
• 12 p.m. - Lunch on your own (concessions available) Jr. handlers show
• 1 p.m. - Bob Yarnall President ACA legislative updates
• 2:30 p.m. - Booth visitation
• 3 p.m. - Auction
• 3:30 p.m. - 2011 Grand Champion Dog Show

Organizers say Dr. Fox will be conducting a rabies clinic from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. It will cost $15 per animal. They say the AWA  will be having a rescue dog adopting during the seminar on Saturday, June 30. You can contact Terry for more information at 573-989-3241.
