Upcoming 'Family Game Night' at Hearnes Elementary | Events

CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) - Hearnes Elementary is gearing up for their biggest family event of the year - "Family Game Night."

Game Night is an evening full of games, activities, prizes, give-aways, surprises, and refreshments - all absolutely free! Families will enjoy six game areas spread over the entire school, with something for every type of gamer.

There will also be a guest appearance from Blue Jays mascot "Billy Blue."

B.J. Babb, Parent Liaison, is hosting the event as part of his 2012-2013 Title 1 Family Involvement program. Babb uses events like Game Night as an opportunity for families to have a positive contact with the school, teachers, and the subjects of math and reading.

"Family Game Night" will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 5:30 to 7 p.m., and is open to Pre-K through 5th grade students and their families.
