Hearnes kindergarten families disguise turkeys | Events

CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) - Kindergarten students in Kimberly Wells' class decorated turkey pictures with their families during Thanksgiving week.

Students were given the assignment to take "Pete the Turkey" home and, with the help of their family, disguise him so he can avoid being cooked for Thanksgiving. Any type of materials could be used to decorate their turkey, and the most clever disguises were acknowledged in class.
