Hearnes to hold 'Science Family Night' Feb. 7 | Events
MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Come join the fun at Hearnes Elementary's "Science Family Night," featuring scientist Jason Lindsey.
The event will be on Feb. 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., held at the Charleston Middle School gym to accommodate a larger audience.
All families in the area are welcome to come and hear our special guest, local scientist Jason Lindsey from "Hooked on Science." Watch as he performs science experiments that are both educational and fun, and some members of the audience will even get to participate.
Participants will enjoy free admission, door prizes, and free refreshments. Older and younger siblings welcome. Open to families of any elementary students, including those at St. Henry and other schools.
This event has been made possible by the combined effort of Title 1 Parent Liaison Mr. B.J. Babb, and 5th grade science teacher Charlotte McNeary, who founded the popular Hearnes "Science Club."
