EAST PRAIRIE, MO (KFVS) - East Prairie Fire Chief Kyle Hutcheson said they had two fires recently.
The fire on Thursday, June 28 was due to electric overload on the house wiring. Hutcheson said there were no injuries, minor smoke damage to a home on Tyler Street.
According to Hutcheson, at 3:45 a.m. on Friday a tool shed/shop in a rear yard of a home was destroyed by fire on Grand Street. He says there were no injuries. A four-wheeler and carpenter tools where in the shop. Hutcheson said they believe the cause was electric, but it is under investigation.
