EAST PRAIRIE, MO (KFVS) - The East Prairie R-II School District will begin on August 16.

The school district has the following supply list for the 2012-13 school year:

Preschool:

• Large backpack with zipper (no wheels)
• 2 boxes of crayons (24 count)
• 2 bottles of white glue
• 2 spiral notebooks (70 sheets)
• 1 can Play-Doh (must be Play-Doh brand)
• Rest mat
• 2 boxes of baby wipes
• 2 packages of cookies
• 1 bag individually wrapped candy (NO hard candy)
• 1 box quart-size Ziploc bags
• 1 box gallon-size Ziploc bags
• 1 plastic pencil box
• 1 folder with prongs
• 2 Elmer's School glue sticks
• 1 jar of peanut butter
• 1 package small cups

Kindergarten:

• Backpack
• 2 boxes of crayons (16 count or less)
• 2 spiral notebooks (3 subject)
• 1 bottle of glue
• 1 roll of paper towels
• Pencils
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 box of quart-size Ziploc bags
• 1 package of cookies
• 1 box of Kleenex
• 4 glue sticks

First grade:

• Backpack
• Pencils
• 2 large glue sticks
• 1 pair of Fiskar scissors
• 2 containers of disinfectant wipes
• 1 box of Ziploc bags (gallon or quart)
• 1 pack of erasers
• 1 box of crayons
• 1 box of Kleenex
• 1 binder with 3 rings
• 1 plastic folder (NO prongs)

Second grade:

• 1 red pocket folder with prongs - plastic if possible
• 1 box of yellow #2 pencils and extra erasers
• 1 ruler (inch and centimeter)
• Backpack or book bag
• 2 wide-ruled spiral notebooks (70 sheets)
• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 large or 1 small glue sticks
• 1 package of 4 dry erase markers
• 1 box of crayons (24 count)
• 1 container Clorox wipes
• 1 pencil pouch with zipper

Third grade:

• Plastic school box
• Pencils and extra erasers
• Pencil sharpener with shavings container
• 5 pocket folders (1 green, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 red, 1 choice) NO brads
• 1 bottle of glue
• 2 packages loose leaf paper (wide-ruled)
• Crayons
• School scissors
• 4 skinny black dry erase markers (student use)
• 1 package 3" by 5" index cards
• Backpack or book bag
• 1" binder with clear plastic cover **NO large binders or notebooks
• 1 large box of quart-size baggies
• 1 zipper pencil case for binder
• 1 boxes of Kleenex

Fourth grade:

• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 2 glue sticks
• 1 box of crayons or colored pencils
• 1 art box
• Scissors
• Handheld pencil sharpener
• 2 packages of 3" by 5" index cards
• 2 packages of 4" by 6" index cards
• 1 package of #2 pencils
• 1" binder with clear plastic cover (NO large binders)
• 2 composition books
• 1 one subject spiral wide-ruled notebooks
• 3 packages loose leaf paper (wide-ruled)
• 4 pocket folder (red, blue, yellow, green) NO brads
• 1 pocket folder with brads (any color)
• 4 skinny, black dry erase markers
• Lysol wipes
• Backpack or book bag
• NO mechanical pencils

Fifth grade:

• 1 package of wide-ruled notebook paper
• 5 folders (1 red, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 orange) without brads
• 24 #2 pencils
• Crayons - 8 count
• Markers - 8 count
• 3 glue sticks
• Scissors
• 3 boxes of Kleenex
• 1 package of highlighters
• 1 package of lined 3" by 5" index cards (girls bring these)
• 1" binder with clear plastic cover
• 3 composition books
• 1 pencil sharpener with shavings container
• 1 box of Ziploc bags (quart-size) - (boys bring these)
• 1 zipper pencil case
• 1 small pencil box
• Backpack
• Clorox wipes
• 2-4 packs of black skinny Expo markers\
• NO mechanical pencils

Sixth grade:

• 7 folders without brads (different colors, please)
• 2 highlighters
• 5 one subject notebooks
• 1 package loose leaf paper
• 1 package of 4 Expo dry-erase markers
• 3 boxes (24 count, #2 pencils) NO mechanical pencils
• 1 pink eraser or pack of cap erasers
• Small enclosed pencil sharpener
• 3 glue sticks or 1 bottle of glue
• Crayon
• 1 package of markers
• Colored pencils
• Art box
• Girls - 2 highlighters, boys - 1 box band-aids
• 3 boxes of Kleenex
• Clorox or Lysol wipes
• Scissors
• Trapper keeper (mandatory)
• 1 zipper pencil pouch
• Backpack (not required unless needed)
• NO mechanical pencils
